If abortion were to be outlawed, it would cause an increase in the population of orphanages and foster care facilities. Also, women who want an abortion badly enough will go to any extreme to rid themselves of their unwanted child. There would be more cases of mothers inflicting bodily harm on themselves, for example, beating or shooting themselves. Having an unwanted child can stop a relationship, can destroy a career, and can ruin one's life …

…choice. It is only fair to say that women should be given the same choice. If one doesn't want to hold the responsibilities of a child than she should be able to have the choice of abortion in her options. This is why I feel that abortion should not be outlawed, because if it is all it is going to cause trouble and make women feel as if they are not receiving all their rites.
