…fourth, and last, line: "It gives a lovely light!" reveals that, despite the lack of longevity of this exciting era, it is still worth it. It will always be the most fun they ever had, and will truely be the best years of their lives. Though life in the 1920s didn't last forever, it was still good during the short time it did last. As the old saying goes: "Time flies when you're having fun!"
