farmers and the farm workers because both social classes need each other, and they both realize this. If they continued being small groups of their own, eventually all the migrant workers would either start dying off or break into rage turning the world to chaos. Since the landowners do not want too much trouble, they have to give in when the farmers start to work together. If they did not, everyone would end up unhappy.
