Slavery Reparations in the U.S. does hold a meaningful point, however I am strongly against it. Some of the ancestors of African Americans did in fact suffer from slavery but I think their relatives should not receive money from the United States Government. A reparation from the U.S. government looks good on paper, but in the long run it can bring down the entire economy of our country. I believe that reparations should not be handed out at all due to the fact that it will most likely create a chain reaction that will cause every group to find a reason for getting them. Can't we all just shut up and stop asking for money?
