Sex education should begin in the home before children even start school. If children are going to trust their parents and be able to discuss this issue with them, the parents need to teach their children about their bodies and their sense of self when they are much younger than elementary school.

parents don't give them enough credit to handle problems or guidance to help solve them.Teen sex happens no matter how much we try to teach abstinence. Parents need to stop treating sex as a taboo subject with their teens and talk to them. Help them make responsible choices. Don't make choices for them. Educate them so if they do make the choice to have sex, they know the consequences and how to protect themselves.
