There are advantages and disadvantages to every mode of learning, but Schlafly overstates the disadvantages of the School to Work programs without offering a proper perspective of the benefits they have to offer. They in fact do propel the students to an earlier preparedness in their desired occupation and give these students an opportunity they may not otherwise have. These advantages should be enough to keep these programs in effect.
