When it comes to power struggles, I have observed that while the motive behind the actions of men and women are often the same, the actions themselves are somewhat different. if a man presented an argument to me that I felt was completely wrong, and then presented the same argument to me, only this time with an improved appearance, I can't imagine being persuaded to change my mind solely on the basis of his looks.
