children in the long run. It even says in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Simple personality traits- social skills, self-confidence, or self-centeredness- are associated with someone's upbringing, but, of course, other factors can contribute to someone's overall personality traits. After being well-informed of these parental styles, I personally will be more conscientious when raising children of my own.
