As foreigners fly into East Coast airports, specifically, New York's LaGuardia, they can't help but notice the Statue of Liberty and think what it possibly stands for. Our immigration policy has been a joke for the past 200 years and we must reinforce them or pay the consequences. Since the mid 1800s the United States has amended laws to accommodate those looking for a better way of living and welcoming millions of outsiders with open arms.
