would be impossible to have the idea of God without the actual being. Unfortunately, I think Descartes holds the human conception of God too highly and fails to realize that the human idea of God is as flawed as humans are. Therefore, I feel he has erred and using his logic has only managed to prove the existence of humans, based on the fact that they have an idea of a being with human qualities.
