In Good Morning Vietnam, Robin Williams stars as Adrian Cronaur. Adrian is not only the main character, but he is also the person whose point of view most of the movie was filmed. farewell. During his time spent there we watch him slowly learn their customs and become more like the people he teaches as they teach him. One way we are shown this is how he learns to use chopsticks. And practically moments before leaving he teaches his class something very traditionally American--baseball. Even though he saw horrible things, almost broke down and lost faith in government, Adrian leaves Vietnam a stronger more fulfilled person.
