Nine months of drinking alcohol by the mother can cause a lifetime of irreversible damage for the child. Hopefully, people will become more educated about the consequences of consuming alcohol during a pregnancy, and no more children will have to suffer because of their mother's ignorance. There is no cure for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
