…slowing becoming more aware; there are many associations that fight this pattern of destruction and laws and legislation have been passed to protect lands and ensure the survival of nature. National parks have been set aside and construction permits have to go through more strict reviews, some of which include environmental impacts. We are moving in the right direction but the current pace may be too slow, considering the damage that has already been done.
