…Blitzkrieg was so overwhelmingly successful and fast that Hitler hadn't even made detailed plans on what to do after his conquest of France. You could say that a form of blitzkrieg was used recently in the war in Iraq with early air attacks and bombing followed by heavy tanks, artillery and mobilized troops.
