1. Introduction
1.1 Purpose
The purpose of this report, first of all, is to provide brief overview of the credit card industry. After that, a company in the Australian credit card industry, VISA International, will be discussed. From all of these discussions, three issues will come up which then, finally, will lead into recommendation about what should be done by VISA to utilize those issues and gain competitive advantages in the future.

innovative advertising and marketing campaign. Moreover, if VISA could do a restructuring that removes layers of management in its team, it could compress time that in needs during the process of making innovation or changing strategies (Bradmore, 1996; Porter, 1985).
Hopefully, if VISA has done corporate restructuring, it could solve the other two issues above which, finally, will lead VISA to become a better credit card company and gain more market share in Australian credit card industry.
