of old ideas slapped onto it. The OS will have at least 13 new hardware-support features, 17 new optimization tools, 20 new applets, and 22 new Internet goodies. Windows 98 is filled to the brim with new technology, a work in progress, so some of the wrinkles have yet to be ironed out. Anyone who tells you Windows 98 is a minor upgrade is just plain wrong.
Of course Windows 98 is far from perfect. Microsoft's original Chicago vision is something awesome.
