…has come very far since the 1960's and year after year affirmative action programs are becoming more and more outdated. Perhaps there was a time in which laws like these were needed, but that is not the case anymore, and these laws need to be changed or abolished altogether in order to reflect the current state of our society. Affirmative action programs are no longer necessary, and are causing too many problems in our country.
