The idea of Affirmative Action was originally meant to correct discrimination rooted in slavery and segregation. …Action defies the constitution and everything it stands for. It creates reverse discrimination in which individuals are undermined. It is developing a community in which people are once again, wrongly judged on the color of their skin. It also brings about divisiveness which creates unconstitutional laws, rules, and quotas. If we truly wish to have a society where individuals are based on character and not color, the first step should be to abolish Affirmative Action.
