It is evident that the main contributions to the Nazis rise in power was the incomplete revolution of 1918 and the weak foundation of the Weimar Republic which eventually led to its collapse. From 1933 onwards Hitler and the Nazis continue to rise in political status and eventually use Article 48 to turn Germany into a dictatorship.
