All seems lost as Homer and Bart despondently search the empty racetrack parking lot for a winning ticket. The owner of "Santa's Little Helper," tired of him losing races, shoos him away--right into the arms of Homer. Bart begs to keep him, Homer consents, and the family is overjoyed.
