In the poem The Silken Tent, which is about Frost's wife, he refers to the tent ( his wife ) as free spirited and it seems as if she would float away into her own world if she wasn't tied down to earth by some responsibilities. Here I see the tent ( his wife ) as good, and the responsibilities as evil.
